iexploreghosts.com - was started as a hobby like all my websites. I find a good ghost story, and the history behind most of these castles, plantations, mansions, and reputed haunted houses quite fascinating. I believe they would make for great stories - thus in a way connected to my writing website - Writester.net.
If you have a great ghost story and/or ghostly pictures email to us. Possibly you own a ghost tour company, ghost hunter company, haunted house - mansion - castle - plantation, and you’d like to have your information added to our website please let us know. (*no charge to be added to the website)

Writester.net was started as a web project to post my own writing online, in December 2004. I began a romantic historical fiction called “The Jamestown Brides” in 2002 but after 11 chapters stopped working on it in 2003. My ‘brilliant idea’ was to start posting what I had completed to encourage myself to finish the novel and gather some useful feedback from readers.
What started out as a hobby evolved into a much larger scope for my project though, with Writester.net.
What you will see in the next few months on Writester.net as it evolves will be the following new sections:
The aim is to build Writester into the one of the largest online free writing resources for writers, agents, publishers, editors and the general public that need to find useful writing resources.
KinToWho.com was started to post the research and information that I found on our family line in a 1 1/2 year period. This website continues hundreds of family names - as over centuries all of us have a multitude of family names we come from.
WalkingBuddies.com was started in the beginning to find a walking buddy in my area as I love to walk and thought if I had someone to walk with we could be an encouragement and support group for each other to stay fit! The website has evolved into an information website about different types of walking, hiking, and historical sights to visit.
Who is Susan Hilliard?
I work as a web developer for and in my free time write on the stories I’m developing and also work on my websites. Living in Southwest Florida, my other hobby includes going to the beach when time permits.
I have many other websites that I own and when time permits I’ll start developing these too.
